Was ist MCP?

The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard that allows AI assistants to connect to external tools and services. PixDNS provides an MCP server so you can query DNS records directly from your AI assistant.

dns_lookup

Query DNS records for a domain. Returns A, AAAA, MX, TXT, NS, CNAME, SOA records.

Parameter

`domain`	string	erforderlich	Domain name to query
`resolver`	string		DNS resolver (default: 8.8.8.8)
`types`	string		Comma-separated record types

dns_checker

Check DNS records across multiple resolvers. Returns results from Google, Cloudflare, Quad9, OpenDNS.

reverse_ip

Find domains hosted on a specific IP address using reverse DNS lookup.

dns_health_report

Get a health analysis of a domain's DNS configuration with scoring and issues.

dns_record_types_info

Get information about DNS record types and their purposes.
